Hi,

I had started a thread in the For Sale section and i think i had followed all the instructions and guidelines, however i got a notification that a Mod deleted my thread. No reason was given. How can i find out why my thread was deleted so i make sure i can fix whatever was incorrect ?

YOu could just PM one of the market section mods or a global mod for details. Your thread had been deleted for not using tags. Please ensure that you use tags for any thread in the market section. The current market system does not have any separate sections, so the only way the threads can be segregated is by use of tags.

Thank you. It would help others in the future if you add a note that not selecting tags amounts to disqualification of the thread. Is it possible to resurrect the thread so i may add the tags or will i need to create a new thread ?
 
I think for tags we can just add a large warning at the start of the thread instead of hiding the thread. Its not really a rule violation but just best practice which is in everyone's interest. If even after the warning text they do not add the tag then we can hide the thread in a few days.
 
^^ Deleted the new thread. PLease edit the first post in the old thread >> go to full editor >> add the tag.

There is a note at the top when creating a thread:
