How can i get a iphone 3G from US from my visiting aunt!

My aunt is coming from US. Is it possible to get from there through her. What all hassles does she has to go through to get one. And does she has to pay by CC or by cash.
 
She will have to get it with a 2 year contract using her social security number, and then terminate the contract. It's all really confusing because the contract termination fee isn't charged if you cancel within 14 days or something. But it doesn't work that way ... It's just really messed up.

Your aunt goes through a lot of senseless headaches

You lose out on local warranty

Eventually, you don't end up saving much dosh anyway

199 *1.08 + 36 (activation) + 175 (termination after 30 days) + 69 (one month bill) = ~24K (assuming 8% ST in the state your aunt is in)
