Hi Frnds,

I may be dumb to not to figure out to how to change my wired network connection to wireless ... but here goes my tale :

I Live in Kaushambi Ghaziabad, which is very close to Delhi yet we don't have MTNL BB connection in our area and coz of some issues we can't have BSNL connection as well. So i've a local ISP for BB connection called in2net ( actually it's SIFY infrastructure ) whi h they are using.
Anyway, i've a direct connection from in2net ( Ethernet cable from ISP is directly going to my laptop ) .... My Ethernet Config. is :

Windows IP Configuration

PPP adapter in2net:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 203.192.241.16
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.255
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 0.0.0.0

Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : mshome.net
Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : fe80::80ca:4f57:5c47:2aa4%11
IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 180.151.0.187
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 180.151.0.177

Now, i thought of simply introducing a wireless router in between ( i've a Netgear WGR614 router with me) and would create a private network out of it. It almost took 3 hrs and a frustation call to Netgear Support to get to this point that I can't make this create this type of network with internet connection coz somehow these local ISP uses some virtual IP to create a network hence i can't a private network inside :huh:

But i'm still confused, why i can't set up a wireless network ....what i need ... i've an outside world IP address, i'm spoof my router MAC address with my lappy's one, i've username and password of dialer to dial in2net's internet .... then what's the issue :@

Guyz please help me with this .... i badly need a wireless network ( all becoz i've ipod touch now ... BUT i can't run internet on it :( ) as who wants a wired connection for a lappy. :(

Thanks in advance guyz ...
