How Can I play Half-life 2 offline...

I bought this HL2 collectors edition DVD a month ago.. but can't figure out how can I play it offline, every time I have to login to steam to play it..

Start Steam in Offline Mode and then you can play it in Offline Mode.

To start in offline more .. disable ur internet for a while and start steam. Please rem to tick "save password" .

Funda like steam only encourages even people who pay for games to turn towards warez just so they can play their game smoothly without hiccups like these. :/
