All OS how come samsung has no competition in mobile sd cards ?

Samsung is a behemoth when it comes to chips and memory, in fact they just toppled Intel yesterday as the largest chipmaker. They have a ton of facilities and therefore are the key supplier of components to other manufacturers which explains the price difference.
