hello,
I am very much novice So cant understand, about how do a National Organisation like say Nasa,CIA gets hacked by chinese hackers, I mean this institions would have CISCO security routers or better which can only get connected to the desired computer or are their secret information is it on their public website, or in a different system, also are this very classified information always online. And than a hacker from china hacks into their system with only a connection and laptop, no bruteforce attack meaning many computers running to crack their security ,get password etc, how the hell. Only one PC and the enitire security system like routers, hardware firewallls, live the software security part gets breached is it a myth, Please tell.

The routers, firewalls, etc are doing their job pretty well. They block all external attempts made by the hackers to the internal government computers. The problem is not the computers, its the morons using those computers, a 21 yr old gets a mail from some random id with the subject as " Britney naked, see now". Being a smart ass that he is, he opens an image which carries a Trojan or opens a backdoor there by giving access to our favorite Chinese hackers. There are a million possibilities to hack into computers and 99.99% of them are generated by humans.

Btw you would surprised to know how many unpatched computers are running in the army.

PS : this is an over simplification of the issue, you should be able to google and find much more informative computer journals which describe these kind of problems.
