How do I cancel my Blackberry plan on Airtel Prepaid

I am asking this question here because I have called Customer Care umpteenth times without any success.

I am trying to cancel my current plan (Rs 299) as I want to change to the 399 plan (Internet plus other BlackBerry Services). How do I do this?:S
 
Actually true. I remember when my BIS was not getting activated. They told me, that my BB is defective. :(

Finally 2-3 battery pulls (over a period of 2 days) got it up and running.
 
I've got replies ranging from "Let me connect you to an engineer or superior" to "sarr pliz be sending massege to 121" to "Call 7070, toll free" (which is bullshit btw) to "Sir Just activate the new pilaaan. Old one will be cancelled"

I tried all and in the end all that has happened is the regular BB Plan (299) has been renewed for another month.
 
Great. So I don't know when i'lldo that as the new cycle has started and I won't be in Delhi again anytime soon (Have a Delhi no,)
 
Try sending 'airtelbb' to 121.. I think there used to be a keyword like that which would then give a list of plans to choose from to activate. Don't remember whether it was for postpaid or prepaid though!

That gives you the option to activate various plans. You cannot deactivate or migrate to another plan.
 
Why take so much pain? Been a postpaid customer, simply create your a/c on airtels website and then do anything you wish to with your no. Activate/deactivate anything the way you want. ;)

I thought you are on postpaid....:|
 
I would like to suggest you, dnt activate Airtel BB 399 service. I used the same and it was not satisfactory. First of all airtel not providing the standard of services which they commit. Secondly the blackberry service by airtel is not satisfactory, this is my personal experience with airtel BB service. Few drawback i would like to share here with you;
1. Slow internet connection
2. Always coverage issue.
3. The service they commit, they never give that.
