how do i play video from pc to smart tv & simultaneously play the audio on pc?

i have a dlna enabled smart tv. it doesnt have a headphone output.

i can watch movies stored on my pc on the tv via streaming using plex or ps3 media streamer.

is there any way i can stream movies to the tv while simultaneously playing it on the pc or even on my android phone so that i can use a headphone for the audio ?

windows has a "cast to device" feature which streams the media to the tv but it doesnt play it simultaneously so there is no audio output on the pc

is there any way to get this setup?
 
if you have latest intel graphics, try using WiDi or Wireless display. you have to add your tv as wireless display in your computer.

If you are using a HDMI cable to connect your PC/Laptop to TV and want to play sound on the original source itself then go sound properties. Choose the PC Speaker Device as the default device (it will be pointing to HDMI as the current audio output source).
 
you can use an optical to stereo analog convertor. most of the cheap ones (Rs 400-1500) do not support dolby or dts. you'll have to make do with stereo output.

Edit: I re-read your question. Do you want to play movies both on tv + pc simultaneously through the plex server?
I don't think it would be possible unless you share the monitor to tv from pc (don't know if tv will get sound too) and play the sound through pc.

i found an android app "localcast" which routes audio to my cellphone at the same time as it does to the tv
