Windows How do you check multiple emails on one app/software on pc

I have 5 gmail accounts including my family's. I keep them logged-in on google chrome and also use "Checker Plus for Gmail" extension where it notifies as soon as there is an email in any of the accounts.

But the problem is every now and then chrome signs them out due to various reasons and I have to keep signing them again and again which is a painful process of typing email, password and then grabbing the phone to authenticate.
Even today chrome got updated and all the accounts got logged out and I'm frustrated.

Is there any solution or better alternative to this? I'm on Windows 10.
If there is app or better alternative that is privacy focused, notifies immediately on receiving email and won't watch my email data, please do suggest.
 
I keep separate chrome profiles and log in directly into chrome for such account. I use those profiles only for email related things.

Rest all of my browsing is in Firefox.

That's not possible for me to have profile for each gmail account.
Otoh, even profile account gets logged off sometimes.

I didn't try it, never bothered to even check it.

In outlook emails, sometimes we get ads relevant to the email received. That's when I realized microsoft is reading emails to bring ads.
That's why never thought to use their windows mail app.

Everyone is reading all the e-mails. Some poor NSA intern in the Pentagon basement prolly reads your e-mail before you even receive the notification. No escaping that now.

But like nritech said, Outlook is a great way to accomplish what you are looking for. It works with most major email services I think.
 
If you do not want to use Windows apps (the mail app is clunky and heavy and I understand your reluctance), why not try thunderbird? Or Betterbird? Both of them worked swimmingly for me.

What I do is keep 1 main profile, rest for email related work (Gmail accounts) I keep separate profiles.

It takes like 5 seconds to open a profile, and you can keep multiple profiles open at the same time.

Chrome profiles getting logged out is weird, I never faced that.

I will check it out. I am also looking at Thunderbird and others.
It's not about NSA, but will the developers of these apps be able to see the email content is my only doubt.

I am looking at those 2 right now.
 
You can use a good password manager like Bitwarden with Passkey which allows to store gmail passkeys so its a simple one click login.

You are logged in to your google account while using chrome so google has a profile of you based on your browsing choices so ads will be targeted to you. They are always tracking you so its hard to avoid targeted ads. A more privacy focused browser (mullvad browser), dns, enabling dns over https (doh) are some of the free options for more privacy. Chrome is farthest thing from a privacy focused browsing experience.

Thunderbird is pretty good for handling multiple email accounts.
 
I can't believe the concept of "email clients" is foreign to most people. If it is your personal computer, email clients (like the ones suggested above) are the right way to go about stuff. You can also sync your calender, tasks, and notes (of whichever accounts you choose).

Sadly yes, I have never tried any email clients. Just used to login in web browser to check mails.

Otoh, I tried betterbird, and I felt I am back to the 90s. What an outdated design, I just uninstalled it. Thunderbird must have been same too.
Will try out other apps.

Yes you can use new Outlook and configure as many accounts you want gmail/hotmail/yahoo and custom domains (if those support pop)
I am using 19 accounts in outlook (though 9 or 10 are not required and used only for specific purpose, those receive email once/twice a month max).

Tip: Make sure to add/mark inbox folder of each account as favorite to be able to see those on top left first, or you will have to manually tick+ to open every email account.
