Where did you read that? Reviewers get a copy of the title much before the NDA is lifted. This ensures that they get sufficient time to do one complete playthrough of the game and publish the review after doing all the editing.

Not always. IGNs reviewers put in hrs before the review is put out, but they themselves admit that they have to rush through the games and put in "working hours". Specially when a review copy doesn't come to them. Plus for a huge game, they generally have a lot of inputs for wiki etc.

choose beginner level, and if anywhere you stuck, go you youtube and watch Gameplay, walkthrough and come back

Bethesda (or Obsidian) had a sort of a match between the developers of Fallout New Vegas as to who completes the game first --only the main story line. I read it one IGN a long time back, cant recall the exact time taken by them but surely it wasn't much since they knew every nook and corner of the game.

Get back from work around 7 PM. Freshen up within 30 minutes. Start! Take a 30 min. break for dinner around 9'ish. Resume. Ends at 12.30~1 AM. Take a quick shower and crash. Wake up at 6:30 AM. Leave for work at 7:15 AM.

Rinse wash repeat.

So you skip showering in the morning? Wish I could make myself have a shower at 1 AM.

i to use cheat codes.

my main motive in a game is to see scenery, physics, environment, characters, logic, etc. (visual & aural appearance). Otherwise i dont have time for such things.

I don't understand how people go for platinum trophies?

I mean going through multiple playthroughs and sometimes doing tasks which are immensely boring or repetitive or frustrating or all.

It seems more like a chore than 'fun' activity. In the same time , one can finish 2 other games (just the main missions ) and have more fun.

Guess I'll never understand how people have so many platinum trophies :-D

The water is very cold during the morn. and we have to use that immersion heater which takes half an hour for heating a bucket of water. I'd rather sleep during that time instead.

Bragging rights - that's it. There is no other incentive for achieving trophies. I've raked 3 Platinums in Uncharted 1, 2 and Heavy Rain. Had to do multiple playthroughs to achieve them. Had no other title to play during those days and wasted time for this instead.

Haha. I was also trying to platinum Heavy Rain. I even started for the "Perfect Crime" trophy. But 5 chapters in, and I was bored of going through the same thing again.

maybe after few months.

I bought Ps3 last month and I just have 1 platinum (Crysis) . but in that case I enjoyed beating the game in the hardest mode. And there were rarely any boring trophy.

i thought of getting Platinum for heavy Rain, since it doesn't involve any skills

; but boy was i bored .

So when's the Games review site coming up #Gannu?

Most of those trophies warrant a second playthrough (one of them require you to view all the 17 endings related to the 4 primary characters) of which some of them happen at the same time. Some of them require you to play only through the last few chapters. But agreed, it tends to get boring at times.

Ya. I would do the all endings anyway, just for fun!

But completing the game again from Hassan's Shop is too much to do !!

I take months to complete a game

... Currently Batman AA is at 50% ...

Generally I use trainer from start, like to explore the storyline and surroundings than to just complete the challenge
