Mach3 costs more but it also lasts 4 times as much.

Check the blades after 10 days. they will be rusted. Don't cut the beard properly.

In anycase you should not use the blades after 7-10 days.

Yeah, Mach3 lasts much longer. Easily for a couple of months. I use it for even much longer than that.

For me, each Mach3 blade lasts around 8 months.
But then I don't shave daily, instead I let my beard get real bushy before I shave it off clean.

People around me get a minor shock everytime I shave, from bawa to chikna in a single day .

@hellfire: I normally don't post in GT. I'm willing to make an exception for exceptional threads and genital humour aside, the reason you're asking this question restores my faith in humanity.

Personally, I throw out my blades only when the holder they come in is filled with used blades - but then my blades last 6 months easy. It usually takes me a couple of years to run through a 5-pack of Mach 3.

I simply did it because I was too lazy to walk to the dustbin outside. Thanks for giving me a new reason to not just chuck them into a bin.

I started with Wilkinson sword in my early days. I found it quite good. Then used some displsoble razors. They were not so good. My uncle then introduced me to Mach3 and since then, I've never looked back.

Mach3 razors are really good. They are long lasting and are much less abrasive than other razors. I'd recently finished using the blades my uncle had given me some years ago and I tried SensorExcel(I had this from a long time from my dad's foreign trips but never had to use it as I was using Mach3) and Shick Quattro that my dad had gotten me. The Schick was very bad and the SensorExcel felt no different from local brands.

I went out and purchased two cartridges(price is very high in indian market) until my dad got me a 2 pack from abroad. I've also bought Mach3 Turbo and I find no difference with Turbo vs regular Mach3.
