Hi all,

Please share how do you store your CD/DVD collection.

I have purchased a file which can store 100 DVDs as below.

Problem is plastic slots to store DVD are too tight & I am worried it might scratch surface of DVDs while taking out or putting in. see below.

Please share how do you store your collection of CD/DVDs ? if possible give pics/URL of site so I can purchase the same.

I just keep them in the spindle they came in. Inefficient for later access but I don't trust any cases other than from Case Logic and those are too expensive.

Its no problem unless you decide to keep pulling and putting the dvds in back and forth. Once they are sitting in there its no problem.

Spindle for me too, the sleeves do a lot of wear and tear if you keep taking them out.
I suggest buy yourself those 1000 pieces empty spindle from the shop that sells blank dvd's.

I store them in the folder. But if u are using them frequently better store them in a spindle and index them using some file organiser such as Advanced file organiser.

Use seal-king CD covers and seal it well
Then put it on a 240CD pouch only on single side

Most effective for me..discs remain all good as new, even after a couple of years

EXT HDD's all the way. Cds are techlology of the past.

please read the title of the thread before making comments. the topic says how do you store your cd/dvd & not how do you store your data.

Thanks all for your inputs.

I find spindle tough to manage once its filled up with 100 DVDs & need to take a DVD placed at bottom.

What say ?
