From today morning i have recieved 2 notifications that someone had found my posts helpful but still my Helpfulness score shows zero :S

Anyone knows how this works??:huh:
 
Same thing happened to me. Even I rated one of ur post to clear the confusion. Your points increased and showed 1 but again it shows 0 ; might be a bug or something. Give the admins some time as the upgrade is still going on. :)
 
Ya, right now only ShahJahan has helping points. All others have zero :ohyeah: Seems no one is helping out fellow members :P

Buggy TE ;)

Hope its rectified in the coming days :)
 
^Are u talking abt tht rep meter?
I too have the same bug....but cant be sure as I have lot of infractions to my credit.

I pmed renegade and he assured me that it will be looked after.

Ya guess this help thing will work properly in 3-4 days time.

One more thing guys , is it just me or has TE become very slow ?

I don't know why but a page take more than 20-30 secs than earlier

Is TE a little slower than previously for you guys too ?

And yeah karthi007 , i wouldn't have even recognised you had you changed your profile picture too.

Guess members with name changes can keep their old names as their caption for sometime, so members can get acquainted with new names :)

Yeah, same here.

Although, it is back to normal now...
 
I think helpfulness points is more than adding numbers to the profile. Instead of saying "I agree with xyz-person", you can select "thumbs up" which increases the value of the post, thereby reducing the number of unwanted posts.
 
Have patience buddy, I'm sure they are working on it. We certainly don't want TE down to modify it. :)

Will the helpfulness points be implemented for the Buying Help section? Its been 4 weeks now. Even the helpfulness points displayed in the user profile has now disappeared.

At least the reps could be enabled for the section temporarily if admins are still working on it. Even the show off section has reps enabled while there is no way to acknowledge helpful posts in the Buying Help section.:no:
