No problem glad to help any time.But keep in mind software above is demo version,will recover only 1 sector.
You have to purchase software.In India software are very easy to buy :P

Well if damage is above recoverable levels, you have to RMA/Change your hard disk.

Recover as much data you can.

This Software Only Works If The HDD Firmware G List is Empty ,If The Same is Full You Cannot Remove These Sectors ,then You Will Have To Shift The G To P List And Then USe This oftware ,If Your HDD Is Out Of Warranty And This Software Does Not Work Gimme a PM i Will Direct You What To Do.

Yes hunter, but try to have full version with payment.This software is worthy to buy.
Demo version will recover only 1 bad sector.

I have a Maxtor which is out of warranty and busted. Doesn't make any noises as such but all data seems to be lost.

Now, how can I figure out if this "G List" is empty or full? Will HDD Regenerator indicate in some manner if the disk is unrecoverable? Please help Amarbir :)

Bro ,

If even After using HDD Regenerator And HDD Regenerator Saying Its Done The Job You See That the bad sectors are there,then the g list is full.
 
Thanks for the info Amarbir. BTW, *if* that is the case and the G List is also full, is there any magic you can do?
 
HDD Regenerator does not change the logical structure of a hard disk drive. Therefore the file system may contain logical bad sectors marked earlier, and other disk utilities such as Scandisk will detect bad sectors even if the hard drive is successfully regenerated by HDD Regenerator. To remove non-existent bad sectors from the file table, repartition your hard disk drive or use PowerQuest PartitionMagic (Bad Sector Retest option)

Well in case of growth defect table "G-list" full you need to change hard disk/seek professional help for important data recovery.
 
Note : BAD SECTOR NEVER REPAIR BY ANY SOFTWARES
SOLUTION: DELETE ALL PARTITION AND RECREATE ONE BY ONE.
In that process use bad sector not count but yaa hard disk size reduce.
