PC Peripherals how good is dell 2208wfp

I am planning to buy Dell 2208wfp monitor..

Locally for rs 17000

Any views or reviews as to how good it is.

Most of the threads i saw here were of 228wfp so started this new thread.
 
For 17k not worth it, for 14k it is a very decent monitor, although if you are willing to shell 17k on a monitor you will get better choices from Dell itself. Look around on the forums and you will get an idea as to the approximate cost that you might be looking at.
 
^^Yeah I got mine [EDIT:Ultrasharp 2208WFP] for 13500 + shipping via Dell EPP long back. It was worth the price then.

Someone here got a Viewsonic 22 incher for 9.8k. :P

Although I doubt the quality of the panel compared to the standard 22 inchers which retail for ~12k and above.

I bet the Viewsonics available in that range wont come close to the SP2208WFP. Although the monitor has a gloss screen, it performs exceedingly well if u place it right. :)
 
2208wfp has HDMI ,DVI and VGA also with integrated webcam

None of the monitors in 12k range have HDMI and only few of them have DVI.

On the dell online site the same monitor is listed for 16.5k
 
^^^ Well, native HDMI for a 22" PC LCD is not really a big deal as long as the LCD has DVI-D and you can use a DVI to HDMI adapter that's typically bundled with the better graphics cards these days.
