Please let me know, if there are any reviews on Asus R051CX

I am planning to buy a netbook for my MoM, (basic usage - net surfing, chat, Skype). Is this a good buy ?

Also, a specific questions - is the audio out/in port integrated or separate in this model ?

If the reason you're buying a netbook instead of a regular laptop is budgetary constraints, then I'd suggest spending a little more and getting a pentium dual core laptop.

You'll find them under 20k in online deals : Acer AS 5750Z ( Intel Pentium Dual Core-B940 for Rs.19,999

The RAM on the Asus netbook isn't upgradeable, so you'll be stuck with 1 GB, which is not enough IMO.

The reason is primarily the form factor and portability of a netbook.

How is the after sales service of Asus in India ? Is this carr-in support.

Also, a specific questions - is the audio out/in port integrated or separate in this model ?

at the least buy this: Asus X43 X43U-VX083D. For 22k there are far better netbooks by Samsung.
