Hi

I am running i5 2500 on Gigabyte h61m d2h USB 3.0 motherboard woth 4 gb corsair xms3,but I am not satisfied with mobo as it has very lesser or no options to play with.

So is it OK if I upgrade to Biostar T z68k+ as it allows to overclock with frequency and also with the unlocked multiplier(on k series cpu obviously).

Considering this mobo because at least I can alter the frequency on my non k i5 2500.

Also there also comes a Biostar T z68A+ which is more expensive than Biostar T z68K+.Are there any major differences between a+ and k+??

I think the K+ is the updated version. only diff I see on the site is 32gb supported memory vs 16 on the a+

But still k+is cheaper than a+..Anyways,does z68 allows some tweaking for non k cpus??I have h61 and does not have many options.

No all non-k marked processors are pretty much locked as is, but if you want to risk it [a unstable system, not to say random crashes and data corruption], then these guys did some tweaking around with their P67 based test bed --> http://www.bit-tech....bridge-review/5 / http://www.xbitlabs....00-2300_11.html.

Hope this helps, Cheers!!
