How is energ Home UPS

Hi all,

Thinking to buy a home UPS. I've settled on two companies here, energ and sukam, but confused on which one to go for.

The website is energ.in

So anybody used this brand and how is it ?

energ is from the compuage , its quality is very poor as per my observations with few customers,cheap buid quality(inside/outside),also low quality relicell battery also bundled with the same.
Its a local assembled product with a generic circuit design commonly used in DIY kits.

please keep away from energ, invest on amaron,su kam,microtek,apc,xenon etc.also look for local onsite support for the same.

I have Microtek, and they have an amazing service backup.

ok, i'll ne going for sukam only, dont want to take a chance by going for this new and not so famous company.

its not only new but lacks many features & basic build quality !!!also with cheap batteries

Why don't you go in for APC? I've been using one for the past, say over 11 years and it works absolutely perfect till date. Just needed battery change and a minor problem that was fixed for 100 bucks!

very reliable and probably the best UPS company out there.

For Home UPS nothing comes close to APC in India, cost wise.

Inverter is different story with Microtek in picture.
Service and spares availability is great.

Decide accordingly.

Well APC offers square wave inverter and they don't have a Sine wave inverter.

So sukam Sinewave or anyother complete sinewave inverter would be better.
