Yep contract system is not going to work here. People will buy the phone with contract and won't pay the bill after 2 months. I am sure airtel/vodafone will charge initial security deposit to be on the safer side.
I would hate Vodafone for doing this. Anyway its a crappy company. I m on a advance rental plan with vodafone. At the time of paying the advacne I was told that I will be able to revert back to anyother plan of my choice and my Advance will get adjusted and now they tell me that advance wont be adjusted if i change my plan. Next time I will make sure I take everything in written.
