Agree with the explanation and if you think about it, the problem lies in the OS : For not *hard* deleting the file when you shift-delete it. Windows media player is not smart enough to figure out that the missing pieces are part of an old file. Utorrent isn't programmed to delete the space clean before it pre-allocates the torrent files because it may take few seconds to do that and the fear that the user might think utorrent is slow.
how is it even possible ? downloaded another movie in a sec ?

hey guyz its nothing like old hdd or formatted hdd
its completely new hdd bought in october 09
and i dint have these movies before which i m able to view
and yeah i m able to watch full movie
and today also when i was downloading porno pack - 929mb - it was only .,3% complete and i stopped downloading the torrent and wat i saw was SPEED RACER IN HD PRINT [THE PRINT WAS JUST AWESOME]

do a simple test ...
Download a software called as Recover my files. You can download the demo.Google for it.
Then perform a full system search for recovery /format recover.take a screenshot and post here.You dont need to save those files.I am 100% sure the harddisk which you have is a previously owned or was used to transfer files atleast once before you bought it.It will show up older files with names and such.
One more test.Simple common sense.
All you need to do is start your net connection.Note the time.Then start some download and stopit after reaching some 5%.Check if some other movie plays.Now stop the connection.Disconnect.Then after sometime connect again and check the amount of transfer data took place.If it shows some 50-100MB's which corresponds to 5% of data download/upload.It means the movie which is showing up while watching is resident on your drive.Movies/data cannot just magically appear.Period.

The movies you are seeing should have been i your disk and got deleted before. There is no other way for this to happen. Scan your hard disk using tune up undelete or PC inspector file recovery and check what are the files that come in the list. Doing this will sometimes show the files previously present. BTW where did u get the harddisk from ?
