how is nokia 5610

i am about to buy a 5610 tomorrow for my gf... if someone has it please tell me how it is... should i go for it or a n73....?????

my requirements are a good camera, music player, 2gb card slot, big screen and the usual...

budget max 15k for the phone...
 
5610 is really good enough..i feel that N73ME has become very common and old..go for something new and more appealing..5610..is a good choice

should be around 13.5 k ..rest u can spend on buying a 2gb microSD card.
 
5610 is very good if u use a good headphone like creative EP 630. Tech2.com has just done a review of this model and seems to be a great music phone with very good camera as well. better check this review.
 
dude.. instead of the 5610, id suggest the 5310 .. its always better to stay away from sliders.. an candy bar phones are normally more sturdy and easier to use.. also in this case 5310 is 2k cheaper than 5610.. so think about it

P.S: a friend bought a 5310 yest for 10.5k.. if tats any help.
 
5610 seemed to be a good fone even before it launched and after the launch too it got good reviews.

The slider of this series is smooth and so one can safely assume that the fone wil follow the suit.
The flash and the cam have been looking good on papers and reviews confirm that they are indeed decent enuf.
The music software def is gonna be an ease for the user to wade thru his/her collection.

It seems to be pretty nice fone stacked up with the features which make up for one stop solution kinda fone.

I say go for it. :)
 
i went ahead and brought it.... 5610 looks a real beauty in hands.... nice UI also... i always loved the quick and responsive S40 interface than my Nseries pathetic s60 interface....

Also the camera and music player are good stuff.... even i favor candybar design but the problem is my gf does not likes candy bar....

got it for 13150 Rs.

5310 was available for 10400 Rs. both at @lpha mumbai.....

Congrats buddy, i got one for my bro in law's bday gift too....the phone simply looks awesome...i got the black-red one..the black-blue wasnt as impressive as this one..:D

Overall, the phone is simply gr8 value for money and looks stylish..way better than the 5700...:P
 
@Spacescreamer : would have loved to to that and a review... but its with my gf now and she must be fiddling with it as i write this.....

@Private_Ryan : Yeah the red model looks way awesome than the blue one... hence went for it....

Let's see, if i get my hands on it for a couple of days... will write a mini review on it... though i doubt that would be anytime soon....
 
5610 is de best fone..
i got it and am havin it for more than 3 weeks..its just so fast as its s40...the music player is damn good and so is the camera....indoor pics is just average but the outdoor pics is great and so is the video.... go 4 it!
 
and don't be mad enough to go for the 5310, as per as the reviews(user), its a crap piece....
2k more n u will get 5610 wich is 10 times better....
5310 is a waste
 
i'm yet to buy the phone :P

i'll buy Transcend if it's available..

get the card from any other shop(like ritchie street-chennai,SP road banglore..) if it's available..

will be a lot cheaper..
 
i've read reviews sayin that sandisk 4GB works fine with it and some other manufacturer's doesn't....not sure as i haven't tried em out
