How is Pacenet ?

Hey guys,

Please share your experience about Pacenet(Mauli Cable Network, Kandivali(E)).

Also I don't know anything about cable internet, so if you could enlighten regarding the same it would be great.

Should I go for Pacenet 1mpbs UL 650/pm over my current Tata Indicom 256 kbps UL 450/pm ?

they are OK , occasional downtimes but speed is very consistent.

I have tata broadband not photon.

So when I discontinue with Tata my router goes away. Will there be any disadvantages if I dont have a router with me in case of cable net ?

Thought of bumping this latest thread about pacenet rather than creating a duplicate one.
Am planning to shift to Pacenet connection, which is giving me cheaper internet as compared to my previous provider RajeshNet(Hathway).
Any comments or reviews about their service and DC hubs would be helpful.
