A friend is looking to buy the Sony Home Theatre DDW685.

What do you guys say ??
Is it a good buy or are there any other similar products he should look out for ??
 
^^ yeah we wish it was 1999..hehehe

anyways id advice u to go hear it out an then decide.. although i dont really appreciate sony audio any longer but audio in the end is always a personal choice..

and im not an expert on this but is 5.2 a little weird of an output.. i mean its either 5.1 or 7.1 right? but 5.2 .. better find out if dvds would give out proper outputs for tat.. though im sure some other audio techies here would be able to throw more light on this..
