I'm from Navi Mumbai (Kalamboli). I'm thinking of taking Tata Wimax. Right now I've Broadllyne net provided by SSV cable, but recently came across the new plans launched by TATA.
In my area there's no Airtel, Youtele etc. My only options are SSV cables (Fivenet or Broadllyne), Reliance Wimax and Tata Wimax. I'm getting good amounts of downtime these days especially since the rains started. I was thinking if I go for a wimax connection the downtimes that I get would be almost nil. Reliance wimax plans aren't as impressive as Tata and they're only offering 1mbps+ plans for new connection.
Also, the Flash 384 plan from Tata looks impressive with 384 kbps (day) and 1.5 mbps (night), with a 70GB Fup, costing 1.2k+tax. I was wondering if the Fup they state actually is so serious or is it just a condition in case they would want to use against anyone?
I want reviews from anyone using Tata Wimax from Navi Mumbai. How is it for gaming and torrents? Also someone please enlighten me if they really suspend the account when we cross the FUP because it is 1 customer that they're losing, so has anyone got their account suspended?
1.2k+tax is still a hefty amount for me but the plan seems good even with the FUP that's why I'm thinking about it.
