I wanted to know how the DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra ATX AMD Motherboard was.

My upgraded specs will be
AMD 3000+ (upgrading later, no money now)
Ati X1800XT 256mb
DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D
2x1gb ram Corsair PC 3200

This might sound noobish, but just wanted to clear out my doubt, will the X1800XT work on the DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D?

Yes it'll work. The mobo is one of the best mobos for overclocking though you must really know what you are doing to use it. It can be a painful experience for n00bs.

Well, yeah I do ahve plans of Oc'ing but sometime later. But overall, is this mobo worth buying? Or should I go for some cheap Foxconn mobo here and get a X-fi sound card instead?

Ig you are a noob, then go for an Asus A8N-E and an X-fi. I would not recommend a Foxconn or a DFI. I say take a middle path :P

1800XT is perfect.....
good value for money...1900XT doesnt tower over 1800XT anywhere...

^^ It will soon. UT 2007 :ohyeah:

But the X1900XT is not worth it. Even @ 400$. Once it hits the 350$ mark, thats the VFM card to buy :P.

^^Of course its worth it, by the time it reaches $350 a new card would have probably come out. It performs quite a bit better than the X1800 XT. The 100$ spent is well worth it, especially for future games.
