how is the Onda VX545HD?

has anyone bought the Onda VX545HD from mp4nation.pls tell us how reliable the site is and also how this players performance is.

i first thought its a typo for "Onida" :O ......the specs sure do look good , i doubt if anyone here had got this....stick to what people have bought.....if u fear the reliability of the site personally go using the KMD route and let his management handle it. He would be the best person to advise with the deal.
 
Surprise surprise.

I am actually using the Onda (an older model though) since the last 1 year. I am not much into portables, and use it sparingly. Actually I got it when someone visited China and got that for me. I found it alright and so i ordered 3 more during his next visit!

I basically use it only for MP3s and videos. I found the build quality quite good enough and the battery life is also quite good. Please remember that I am not a discerning user i.e. I'd hardly notice the subtle differences between a 128 bps and a 320 bps songs !! So it works great for me.
 
The Onda VX545HD is a really good player. As for MP4Nation....service is not that good, they like to make excuses for poor service and they definitely do not have a good communication protocol. They gave a choice of free gifts, but did not deliver on those.... Definitely don't use the EMS system..because the length of time they take to actually mail your product out is ridiculous at best. I payed the extra for shipping and it still took me over 18 days to get my product....

I really do like the Onda VX545HD 16GB I did get.... really good picture quality on the player. The user interface leaves some things to desire, but by installing the version 1.3b firmware update definitely makes the player more enjoyable....
