How many credit cards do you have?

My Credit Card Journey started with me asking for a credit card from SBI, and they denined stating mine not being a salary account. Or i have to make a FD aginst the credit card. None was an option.

After 2 years my name poped up in their credit card giveaway list. So happy i was to get a SBI Simplyclick card. I was told i would get arround 25k as limit. But after i received it the limit was disappointing 10k only. Still it was something better than nothing. Now after 3 years and barely using it in capacity my limit is 1.5 Lakh. Points are good enough to make use of. Occasionally get Cleartrip coupons too. I am very happy with single card.
Just there is always some struggle to reach to customer suppport executive in SBI Cards.

Be careful never to trust any sbi cc executive without having a written email/confirmation from them via ticket system(available on website). In any case, they are very less knowledgeable & can help you only with standard basic issues, if your issue deviates from the standard by even a little then they will provide useless replies(incl their supervisors who are 1 level above) & the correct reply will only come starting from nodal officer level.

Anyone using One card?
Yes.. Too heavy for carrying in wallet, can cause hip imbalance or spine issues.
I use it only for in-house strictly due to health hazards!
I have a salary account but never got an option for these two LTF
Salary a/c should be with such banks then you get even top-most cards LTF..
Again your organization should be an MNC to enjoy full benefits..
Nowadays most credit cards are overlapping in a lot of ways

Milennia and Cashback

Amazon Pay Axis Flopkart Axis Airtel
Axis has gone ma.d.they are into everything now. Soon some axis fanboy will have to carry a ladies purse with all 20+ axis cards.
Seems gone are the days where one card was sufficient for offers on everything..now every bank is coming and making customer go mad like swiggy, zomato, fuel, airtel, flight, travel etc etc cards.
Better not to fall for these tricks.

My CC expenses aren't 50k pm, but I have 5 CCs: Axis FK, Amazon (LTF), ICICI Platinum (LTF), HDFC Milennia (LTF) & SBI Simplyclick.

I paid the issue charge for Axis & SBI CCs, but meet their annual spend requirement to forego AMC.

My main CC is Axis FK because of 1.5% cashback anywhere.
How do you know whether your card is lifetime free or nor? I used to have Milennia card too but when I asked HDFC page on facebook, they told me it has minimum spend of Rs ****** and if not, there is a charge. I mean it's both the same card why isn't mine lifetime free is what i am wondering.

In the other comment, it seems like you said Amazon pay card doesn't work for icici offers?

In the current sale, Amazon itself is running offers on ICICI cards which are not available on ICICI Amazon cards. It's a joke.
I see, icici kept calling these past few days for a card offer. They initially offered some credit card I don't remember and I told them I actually prefer Amazon pay card if possible. So, they are helping me get it, and then my aadhaar and pan needs linking for a fee of Rs 1000!!

Anyway, would you recommend the regular icici card over amazon card.

(Sorry for thread hijacking)

HDFC has conditional LTF offers like these

So that's why I don't own any HDFC cards

If you don't have big ticket purchases, millenia or SBI cashback card will also serve the purpose. ICICI Az is good for big ticket purchases.
Better to keep an LTF card for CIBIL score, my Amzn card just collects dust with my OneCard

HDFC gives out personalised offers. My RM called & gave me a Millennia LTF offer, I took it (had to spend 50k in 1 quarter to make it LTF or attach a recurring bill to it via HDFC app). I know people get LTF offers in higher end cards as well, like Diners & Infinia. While filling my card's application, I got a customised link with the offer written. Otherwise no way to know if it is LTF from app/website right now, I think.

Amazon & ICICI plat CCs are LTF for everyone. Axis FK was LTF during some limited time period as well, recently its rewards got devalued.

It was always the case, hence the reason many people get ICICI platinum CC. Also, if you are not an ICICI CC holder, amazon CC applications have a much higher chance of rejection even if you have other CC from other banks. Happened with me & 2 other friends (one of them had a salary account in ICICI, still his application was rejected, he had other bank CCs). A 3rd friend of mine recently got his Amazon CC application rejected, so is now applying for ICICI plat (he has other CCs).
