Just wondering how many of you guys download stuff from irc networks?

hmm used to ... once you get yourself hooked to a few rooms and make friends with the peeps there.. there is no looking back.. .... its great fun coupled with fantastic downloads...

but sadly you`d have to wait in que for most files that you would want... movies, games, albums.. .. saad ... so if ya have unlimited thne irc can def be very useful.....

its great for all the new stuff.. you'd have to search real hard for old shit if your looking for any..

IRC is the best way to get stuff... i use it for files which are hard to find.but only problem is its not easy to use like other p2p s/w.

kept getting disconnected then i had to reque for resuming the download! a real headache!!

I use IRC a lot, but mainly for chatting. Some channels are quite good for getting ebooks.

Used to...around a year ago when I was on MTNL's unlimited dialup. Post Triband the queues and the uncertainty in download qualities made me switch over to torrents. The flames and abuses being exchanged at piratebay and torrentspy help in making the download decisions
