How much would the adapter/charger for a acer aspire 5583 cost ? i guess chargers must be same for one company ??? (one size fits all)??

try to get it from ur dealer where u got the laptop from,
and dont buy cheap chargers as they damage not only the battery but can cause damage to mobo due to power spikes sometimes , i have personaally seen this thing happen on my friends dell laptop which he was charging with a desi charger,
and then the dell guys relaced his mobo ofcourse ...:P
