Strontium claims that the transfer rate (I guess read speed) of their flash drives are

§ High speed up to 480Mbits/sec for USB 2.0 (60MByte/sec)
§ Full speed up to 12Mbits/sec for USB 1.1 (1.5MByte/sec)

Anyone who owns one of them confirm this as well as mention the true write speed.

Which models are these? A link to the page you're referring would be good.

They could be referring to the USB Interface speeds and not the actual drive read/write speeds.

You can expect 9-10MB/s write speeds from strontium pen drives, they are much faster when compared to sandisk cruzer blade which are famous for pathetic speeds.

it should be max read speed obtained in test setup.

@ - those are theoretical speeds of USB 2.0
Strontium / Transcend / Kingston have put up the read and write speed of their flash drives in their website
