1)How often do you clean your PC?
2)What do you use when cleaning your PC?
3)What part do you pay most attention to while cleaning it?
4)What's your tips when cleaning a PC?
1)Every 3 month.
2)I use canned air.
3)Mostly the fans.
4)None :(

1 once in 2months
2 Vaccum and a dry cloth
3 Mouse and keyboard
4 clean all keyboard keys with special attention to the enter and escape key

whenever i see a dust collection. I use 3 brushes. 2 big flat ones and 1 round. Then vaccum pump reversed to blow air out and not a full blow but series of short blow outs.
Thats what i do.
Usually once a month atleast.
Not it should be less as i have used filters in my new case :D

1.Whenever i open the cabby, or the comp start screwin up
2.Mostly Vacuum cleaner's blower, and sometimes cotton buds and brushes
3.Fans,h/s, and wherever i see dust
4.its a nOOb advice, don't try movin any fans with hands for fun, as it might screw up the fun

1) Clean once every 3-4 months or when I'm too bored.

2) Use damp cloth for cabinet, monitor and mouse underside. Blow air from a small handheld vacuum in the cabinet and use small brush for removing stubborn dust stuck to fan blades (if any).

3) Special attention to fans, heatsinks and psu.(Blowing air inside the psu sends out a cloud of dust :ashamed: ).

4) I try to ensure the fans don't start spinning madly when air is blown on them. For this I either hold them with a finger very gently or stick a piece of plastic/paper/anything-handy between the fan blades. Don't have any fancy cabinet fans so I've stuck a piece of medical gauze at the air inlets of the cabinet (which I plan to replace as they get dirty :ohyeah: ).

Let me know if I'm doing anything wrongly.

1. Whenever my monitor or RAM stops working.
2. Slam the interior with any cloth lying around and then blow air from mouth.
3. Slots only.
4. Dont slam it too hard as I once broke the cpu fan with the cloth so had to put a system fan in place of it (it is hanging by a single nut as it is too big for the stock heatsink).

Something similar to sunnydiv's approach.

1.whnevr i get tme to do tht:)
2.brushes
3.evrythng....specially dust on fans nd between the heatsink of the cpu
4.dont do it if ur an asthama patient:)

1. Once in two weeks.
2. Using old tooth brush & baniyan cloth.
3. Wherever I see dust.
4. Pay special attention when cleaning heat sinks & fans. Lots of dust tend to get collected just below the blade surface.

Yeah, the place where am staying is quite close to the main road. If I do not clean the place once in a week, you can see a fine coat of dust everywhere :(
