T thegame Discoverer Jul 23, 2010 #1 Guys, HD Tune says that the suppported mode is UDMA Mode 6 but the Active mode is UDMA Mode 5 so would like to know what are these and whether my HDD are running at SATA2 speeds. Also is that for UDMA Mode 6 do i need to update the HDD cables??

H Haddock Contributor Jul 27, 2010 #4 Got new Hitachi 500GB HDD y'day. Its definitely faster , & i set the page file to the new drive, now i dont get "low memory error" when i get 4GB RAM, i'll reinstall Win 7 in the new HDD here are few comparo b/w the 4-5year old 80GB & new 500GB
