how to choose a LCD monitor??

which is better for playing games, watching movies..

My budget is upto 7k

Have to choose between LG/Samsung/Acer

how to identify which is better. I mean the contrast ratios resolutions what else should be noted.

What does it mean when the monitor is specified as 30000:1/50000:1/800000:1 ration. And DVI + HDMI.

How to choose a better one.

Those are DYNAMIC contrast ratios. Not much of a concern, as they are more or less similar among most models.

Why limited to these three? There's Dell, BenQ and AOC to choose from too...

And I'd rule out LG and Acer if I were you.



Ideally, a 18.5" HD (16:9 AR) Monitor should suit your needs.

So pls suggest a brand and model number consider the service/replacement as well
