how to configure my home network

so i got 2 routers
d link dir 600 and tp link wr740N

D link is used as my main internet router with spectranet.
tp link does not support wifi repeater option but d link does

so how to configure TP link with the spectranet network and Free up the D link to use as a repeater?
the specranet guys are charging money for this , i wont pay dime to get network access on my roof.

i havent been using wifi for like 2 years now so,forgot how i configured it 2 years ago
