How to connect modem to router ?

u mean how to connect a 56k phone modem to an adsl router?
simple - connect the phone/line in of modem to phone out socket coming from adsl router (if ur using dlink modem with inbuilt splitter) otherwise if u use external splitter - one line goes to adsl modem and another to the 56k modem/phone.
