my gigabyte 785GMT-USB3 mobo have one 4 pin SYS fan connector and i have two 3 pin fans how do i connect them please guide

consider me a noob in such aspects plzzz...

i have no idea abt system hardware but i am not a dumb for sure , i believe i can pick up ur advices and act accordingly

First Fan: The motheboard header will accommodate the 3 pin fan connector. It has a slightly raised groove. Just match them carefully.

Second fan: Use this. Easily available. It might have come bundled with your fan.

The PSU molex expansion connector shall provide the power, and the "Y" connector will create another output source.

which motherboard do u have....there was a similar thread earlier in which this was answered as well.....the pins will be numbered....find the pin which says (1) and use 1-2-3 leave the 4th blank.

not necessary to count actually. the pwm pin on 4pin socket will be left blank by default if using a pin fan.. the notches on the socket and connector wont make it possible to use that 4th pin with 3pin connectors.
the other way around is also the same... i.e.. 4pin connectors(not the molex ones) can be connected to the 3pin sockets.. 4th pin will remain unconnected due to socket's physical structure.

thanks all for the advices ..... i fixed it manually changed 1 fan with the one which comes with SMPS connector and used second fan with the mobo
the wire was small so i got 2 connector of RS. 3 each and extended the length and fixed it with 4 pin socket
