seems like the common pen-drive virus, is it OP?

nod32 and kav both did the job for me on tht one

yep.. NOD32 virus scan and then run the Disk-check on all drives..

If possible use Bart PE with NOD32 and run it off a CD so that your HDD is not in use at all and all files can be scanned/repaired as none of them would be in use or loaded into memory.
