How to download entire Facebook Albums?

The topic is pretty straight forward, earlier there was facepad which has been removed. Does anybody else know any safe method of downloading albums from facebook?

You can get a copy of the data you've put on Facebook which include all your photos,status,videos etc but it won't include that data that you haven't uploaded example photos uploaded by your friends.

To Download your data:

1) Login to facebook.com

2) Goto Account -> Account Settings

3) In Settings Tab, there is option called Download Your Information. Click on Learn More

Then follow on-screen instructions.

^ The problem of doing this is that you will get a lot of extra content such as statuses, videos, etc in the zip file which would mean a larger download. Also you'd have to wait a few hours while facebook prepares the zip file for download ....

Pick&Zip allows you to bulk download photos from Facebook. It allows you to download tagged photos and also the albums of yours friends.

To get started, just log in with Facebook. You get a list of all your friends on the left hand side. Select your friend from the list and then you can view/download all photos tagged by them or even can download their entire albums(or certain photos as package) in form of a ZIP file. Neat service.

Some other good application alternatives are FotoBounce and PhotoGrabber.
