Yesterday, I installed win xp sp2 in G: drive (I have win xp sp2 installed in C:). I just installed and deleted by inserting win xp cd after half an hour.

Now, after deleting still boot log shows two OS while turning on PC. How to edit and make it one. Please help me to do this.... I have read about this once somewhere online. Maybe here in this forum. I simultaneously try some other place to find a solution....

You can refer to the link to edit boot.ini MS Support URL and remove the invalid entry

Refer Section :

Removing an Operating System

At the command prompt, type:

bootcfg /delete /ID#

Where # specifies the boot entry ID that you want to be deleted from the operating systems section of the BOOT.INI file (e.g. 2 for the second Operating system that is listed.

Thank you...

I tried in command prompt. Like
bootcfg/delete/ID5
bootcfg/delete/ID#5
bootcfg/delete/ID 5
bootcfg/delete/id5
bootcfg/delete/id#5
bootcfg/delete/id 5

All of 'em were invalid sytax or error something. So finally I edited manually.... Thanks for the link.
