How to fetch date from a cell?

I am trying to figure out, but I couldn't...

Here is the thing...

I have date along with time in a cell. I want to fetch just the date from that cell. Do anyone know the formula or any other way to fetch it.

For eg:

14/07/2010 11:36:12 AM

I have this data in a cell. I need to fetch the date i.e. 14/07/2010 and keep it in another cell.

Split the column. Select Data -> Text to columns -> Delimited -> Space. You should get what you are looking for
