how to find whether iphone 4 is factory unlocked or not???

Have you tried any other sim ? There's a good chance your micro sim is not getting aligned properly.

Does the Box have AT&T or any other Mobile Operator logo on the back ?

The part no. you've mentioned seems like it's a UK officially unlocked piece.
 
I inserted a properly cut microsim using the cutting tool in it. It says invalid sim.

Pls help me out guys.

@vrship .. because u cut ur sim chances of it saying invalid sim are the highest .. get the proper micorsim from voda if possible and try ..

to identify a fac unlocked phone u need to see the box .. it should have two languages .

part nos and model nos for soft unlocked and fac unlocked are sometimes the same so dont rely on that .

i always identify a fu by the box as i have found there is no better option than that other than updating the phone !

hmmm, the best way to check whether the phone is officially unlocked is its box itself, if its having some carrier logo then its locked, if not, then its unlocked :P
 
tht thing was over long time back @ khanvis... by the way ^^ only carrier logo is present for iphones bought through at&t and mine was locked with O2-UK without the carrier logo on the box

I just bought an iPhone 4, It has two different languages on the box, Just want to know the 'Logic' behind this ?

ok urs is not fac unlocked .. its that uk part no which is the same as a fac unlocked one ... but if its from uk i can get it unlocked for u for a fee .. call me
 
yup vishal.. that phone which i had shown you wasnt factory unlocked, i am using the 16gb factory unlocked one currently which i got from you for a friend (took it back from him in two days since the locked one which i had got unlocked and got sold).. :) and the 32gb one which i got from govind for myself went bad.
 
what i am saying is that i can get ur uk phone factory unlocked .. u just have to pay a fee to the uk carrier .. and it can be done .. is it a o2 phone ?? what carrier in the uk does that phone belong too ? it should be written behind the box . let me know i can get it unlocked for u
 
oye thats what i am trying to tell, i sold of that phone the moment limera1n released and got a factory unlocked 32 gb one..
