Security Software How to get rid of a WIN32 worm?

this worm is ever so frustating and does not allow the internet to work properly...

no anti virus seem to detect it!

is formatting the drive only option left?

Try malwarebytes. Have been pleasantly surprised by what the small thing can do

goto run.
type msconfig.
then from the startup tab, disable "winlog" or anything that you dont know. this are items thatrun when you log in to the windows and are seen on the extreme lower left of the monitor(taskbar/taskpane)

then restart.

delete a winlog.exe file from your removable media. use esset enod32. it detects the worm, but not the .exe file. so if you dont format removables, u r gone case.

Please describe your problem in detail.

If you are facing this problem only when you connect internet, system gets hanged ? then are you using win xp sp2 ?

this virus somewhat remains inactive when not connected to internet but when connected to internet..after 5~10 minutes of connection establishment a message shows up written that WIN32 has some sort of problem and needs to be closed .......it's a "send" or "do not send" to microsoft type message!

only after pressing "do not send" the connection stops!!
