CPU/Mobo How to identify processor

Ok ....i Hope this ends in 1 reply :) ...here goes..
How do i identify a 939 soc proccy?? :bleh: ...sounds simple rite :hap5: ..
nyways its WITHOUT opening the box...i know it has a answer cuz i had myself stumbled upon that both newcstle & winnie's have a code like sme nos. nd alphabets or smething....but i hav lost track :ashamed:
Can ny1 give exact plzzz???

edit: ok a bit late but i just realised that you were asking how to differentiate between the winchester and newcastle etc. at the moment the 3000+ and 3200+ for socket 939 are winchesters. its only for 3500 and above that you need to go about looking at the part number
