local 80mm fans wont do any real good in cooling and will probably conk off in about 6 months. Which is your cabinet? If it has 120mm fan slots, get cooler master 120mm 4 fan combo offer for 760/-. They arent very powerful but will help push decent amount of air. > http://www.theitdepot.com/details-Cooler+Master+R4-S2S-124K-GP+120mm+Case+Fan_C10P4353.html or

I already own this fan and is taken from a friend's HP PC. I just want to know how to install it and where to install it?

I am currently using Bijli cabinet.

Simply take 2 screws used for (HDDs or Optical drive) and attach it as a side fan or exhaust depending on the direction you set it up as and use the power cable from the psu. Just remember to detach the cables when opening the cabinet in future.

Hope this helps.

I know this process & I even tried it, but the problem is that this fan has two power ports as shown in snap. Should I connect both of them to the power cable of smps.

nope, only connect the female port. the other port is extension port so that attaching a fan wont reduce the total number of port. You can then use that male port for connecting to ODD/HDD or even connecting to another fan.

Also fan screws are different from ODD/HDD screws. They are thicker and the grooves are wider to be fit onto fan's plactic holes, unlike odd/hdd screws which are meant for screwing onto metal holes.

Pls give or show picture of a female port.

Connect the one on the left side in the pic you posted in the first post to your power supply molex.

Anyways you should have tried as two males wouldn't have connected with each other.

Either your fans dead, connections loose (which i doubt) or uv connected too many devices to a single molex output(via extentions)..
