How to join video files

Hi friends

I have downloaded some videos from net and they are in parts which can play individually. I don't want to change anything in them but just to join them. please tell me the easiest way to do it.

try avisynth + virtualdub

If avi files, then virtualdub
If mkv/mp4, then mkvmerge

Almost any video converter will allow joining videos. I use Freemake Video Converter.
