Hey, i found this pretty interesting, cause i always used to wonder what the million temp readings in speedfan actually meant (most of you senior members might know it already, but for lost people like me, this is pretty useful)
Always wondered which sensor SpeedFan is referring to when it says "Temp1, Temp2", etc? Well, this FAQ will tell you how to label them to things like "CPU", "Chipset" and "HDX" (depending on how many sensors you have )
1: Open Speedfan up and go to the "Info" tab.
2: Click "Get Config". You will need to register - register all the required (*) fields. Then continue.
3: In the radio box, make sure "Show every known manufacturer and motherboard" is ticked, then click "Next Step".
4: Select your motherboard make, then Next Step. Then select the model, and so on.
5: Click "Get Configuration" twice. It will now give you a 6/7 digit "Ticket". Enter this into the "Ticket" box from the Info tab.
You should now notice that the Sensors (under the Readings) tab will display their correct names, like this:
hope this helps a bit :hap2:
