Storage Solutions How to make VCD from these files?

Thank you guys for answering my previous post.
Here's one am having problem .....

I have some video clip files in my hard disk. Files are windows media audio/video file. some are only video files. (extension are asf,avi ones)

How to prepare these files and burn them making a vcd so that i can play it in my portable vcd player and view on my Television.

In Nero, the very first step is to choose a data type to burn. Choose Video CD format. And then drag and drop these files and burn the CD. It should work on your stand alone VCD player
