How to OC an AMD ATi HD 4670.

ALPHA17

Cooler "Master"
Forerunner
My friend has the following configuration

AMD Phenom II 1090T Black
ASUS M4A89TD V EVO Pro USB 3
4 GB G.Skill Ripjaws 1600 MHz kit
Sapphire HD 4670 1 GB ( retro fitted with an Artic Cooler fan by default )
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 500GB HDD
NZXT Tempest EVO ( 6 fans 4x 140mm and 2x 120mm pre fitted )

I hope these details are enough, well whenever he uses ATi Overdrive and Speedfan in conjunction to OC his card ( Stock 600MHz to 923MHz ), his system freezes, even the ATi test show that his card is stable at that temp. ( I mention this as I also mistook him sliding the frequency slider in just one shot :S ), THANKS in advance :)

^^^^IMO 923MHz core is something any reviewer has achieved w/o maybe a stock higher voltage card(does HD4670 support software vmod?)

Aim for something modest like 750-800MHz.

Wait a minute u said HD4670? I thought HD4670 default clock was 750MHz core!!!!!!!!!!!

The problem got solved bru, the 923 MHz is memory speed clock not Core GPU frequency forgot to mention this as friend had not clarified this till yesterday morning, thanks for all your help :)
