How to play DVD Rips on nokia 5800?

hi guys....can someone tell me how can i play DVD Rips on my nokia 5800 .
I cut out a video from a DVD Rip movie and it's running fine on 5800 but when i copy the whole 700 mb movie onto the memory card it doesn't play. Tried Nokia Video manager but no result.
pls guide me guys.thanks
 
change video format to mp4 with 5800 compatible settings using video converter or heck phone with helloOX then install smartmovie for s60v5.
 
You dont need any 3rd party apps on your phone to be honest.

Download some video converter like "super" ( there are countless alternatives ).

Use MP4 encoding. Keep video bitrate to 800-1000 range, and MP3 audio with any bitrate you desire (more than enough for phone screen ) and resolution to 640x360 or lower and you are good to go.
