How to preserve Kaspersky license when doing a clean re-install of the OS?

Once in a few months I do a clean install of the OS on a couple of machines. Earlier there used to be an option with Kaspersky where I can save a keyfile and re-activate it. But the recent kaspersky licenses bought in India do not have that option. Or does it? I haven't investigated lately.

Those guys stopped giving keyfiles. i so miss those keyfiles.

what you do is once you are done with installation,activate trial .

let everything settle then put your reg.key which you got on license paper.

it will give you same validity as per activation date.

why i suggest trial is,they have fixed no. of activation allowed so it will save you one count of key use.
